Empower! is a unique seminar for 13-18 year
olds. Over the span of four days (Thursday and Friday evenings
and all day Saturday and Sunday) you will gather with |

many other teens to discuss the areas of your
lives you are most concerned about and find important. The enviromment
we provide is safe and accepting - fertile for direct and honest
discussions. From those discussions and activities, you will
discover what really matters to you. You will experience on a
gut level what vision, accountability, and personal leadership
are AND you will learn tools to make these concepts a reality
in your life right now. Imagine being able to achieve all this
AND have loads of fun as well! |

At Empower!, there are no wrong answers
-- you cannot fail. You will have a chance to talk about and
experience issues that might be difficult or impossible to address
at home, school or at church. Within the structure of the seminar,
what you say and do is completely up to you and will be held
in strict confidence.
Why should you give up your valueable time
to attend? Actually, there are several things you can expect
as a result of attending, among them:
- A much clearer, focused, and positive
vision of yourself.
- Letting go of emotional baggage that might
be holding you back from your dreams.
- Feeling truly powerful inside.

What can you expect from the seminar leaders?
The seminar is designed and presented with several basic assumptions:
- You are not broken and do not need fixing.
- The best way of dealing with anyone is
with respect and honesty.
- There are always consequences with the
choices we make, both good and bad.
- Each of us is responsible for our own
actions and feelings. We perhaps cannot control what happens
to us, but we can control how we react.
